Revelation Breathwork
Who is This For?
This active high-ventilation breathwork pattern is beneficial for anyone looking to:
✔ Release physical stress, tension, or emotional weight
✔ Enhance cardiovascular health and increase lung capacity
✔ Gain clarity and insight on life situations
✔ Experience spiritual exploration and deep self-connection
What to Expect
During your session, you will be guided through a conscious, rhythmic breath pattern that activates your body’s natural healing abilities. As you breathe, you may experience:
• Physical sensations such as tingling, warmth, or lightness
• A sense of relaxation and clarity
• A deep connection to your intuition and inner wisdom
• Energetic clearing and emotional release
• Heightened awareness and expanded consciousness
• Enhanced creativity
Revelation Breathwork is an active three step breathing meditation designed to help you access the deeper layers of your mind, body, and spirit in an experiential way. Through a simple breathing sequence (belly, chest, exhale), this practice supports mental and emotional clarity. With an intentional breathing pattern allowing the breather to focus on their breath, shift energy and calm their mind. Active breathwork is an amazing alternative to meditation for those who find the stillness of meditating challenging but want the benefits. During breathwork, we give the mind and body a focus and job.
You will learn to actively work with your nervous system, helping it shift from a sympathetic state (known as flight-fight-freeze) into a parasympathetic (known as rest-digest-heal). As you learn to shift your states, you also integrate the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual parts of ourselves. Expanding our resilience and self mastery.
While this is a powerful modality, it may not be suitable for everyone. Please consult with a healthcare provider before participating if you:
• Have severe asthma or respiratory issues
• Are pregnant
• Have a history of cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, or stroke
• Experience severe anxiety, panic disorders, or uncontrolled mental health conditions
• Have a history of seizures or epilepsy

TestimonialPrivate Breathwork Session with Melyssa
My first private breathwork session with Melyssa, of Compass of Compassion, was truly profound. Through a simple introductory dialogue, we uncovered meaningful insights about my relationship to intention, self-support, and the practices that support my inner life. Melyssa’s thoughtful questions naturally invite curiosity and deep self-reflection, creating a space where honesty feels safe and welcomed, without judgement.
I participated in group breathwork sessions before and I’ve noticed a longstanding tendency within myself: an undercurrent of fear around releasing and letting go. When emotions begin to rise, I often push them back down out of fear of losing control in front of others.
In this private session, under Melyssa’s gentle guidance and deeply compassionate presence, I felt safe enough for the first time to allow those emotions to surface fully. The moment I let go, tears came — along with sensations, feelings, and soul-level messages that are difficult to put into words. It was a profound realization: arriving into a place where I could safely inhabit my body, feeling loving energy moving through me, and sensing a stronger bond between my soul and physical self.
I was left with an overwhelming sense of safety, gratitude, and appreciation for my body and all it has carried and survived. The session felt deeply transformative — a meaningful shift within both my body and psyche — and I sense it is only the beginning of something beautiful unfolding.
If you feel there is something you may be holding back, even unconsciously, I highly recommend exploring guided breathwork with Melyssa. Her compassion, love, and grounded guidance created a truly unforgettable experience.
From the depth of my soul — thank you, Melyssa.
